Client Brief:
We were contacted by the client who run a leading accountancy firm in the Midlands. They were looking to upgrade their current CCTV system as their current solution was in a a poor state with little to no footage being usable and becoming more and more unreliable.
The accountancy firm operate in a converted barn premises which made running new cables near to impossible without unsightly cables through their beautifully designed office space.
Having seen our previous work, they approached Advanced AV looking for a solution which was both cost effective and professionally installed and could offer them the quality and remote access they required without the need to run new cables.
Solution:
The clients existing system utilised RG59 coaxial cable within the walls of the property. Following our initial site visits to determine the best solution for the job and to meet the clients requirements we decided on HikVision’s Turbo HD range of products and utilised their 5MP turret and bullet cameras. These utilise PoC (power over coax) which mitigated the need for the power supplies currently in place across the offices.
A HikVision Turbo HD PTZ was also utilised with a programmed ‘patrol’ to provide coverage of the sites black spots without the need for multiple cameras to cover additional areas. The PTZ also provides the client with the ability to manually access and move the camera to carry out their own patrols remotely.
